Scaling up financial inclusion at Mehsana Partners with FINO Fintech Foundation and FINO Ltd. for biometric smart cards, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (KMBL) today said it would open 50,000 no-frills accounts in Mehsana district of Gujarat by June 2011.
FINO Fintech Foundation and FINO Ltd will be KMBL's business correspondent and technology service providers, respectively, according to a release here today. The customers will be provided with banking services through the business correspondents-based customer service points, Mr. KVS Manian, Group Head, Consumer Banking, said.
