Syndicate Bank has opened “Financial Inclusion” (FI) branch at Padesur village in Dharwad district. This is the bank's eight branch in Hubli region under the Financial Inclusion scheme.
Mr Srikanth B Kulagod, assistant general manager at Syndicate Bank, Hubli Regional Office, presided over the function, and informed the villagers that, the bank is known as “Small Men's Big Bank” and is helping the rural poor, and weaker sections through its various loan schemes.
He also said that, the bank's branch under Financial Inclusion has been opened in order to provide banking facilities to rural poor of Padesur and surrounding areas.
