Geojit BNP Paribas has registered an 83 per cent growth in its profit after tax at ₹14.97 crore in Q3 against ₹8.17 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The consolidated revenues stood at ₹75.51 crore, registering a 19 per cent increase. The company’s assets under custody and management stood at ₹29,000 crore as on December 31, 2016.
“This financial year we have been focussing on the retail distribution of mutual funds SIPs due to which the company’s SIP book size went up from ₹19 crore to ₹65 crore. We have also added over 13,000 new clients during this quarter,” C.J. George, Managing Director, said.
“In keeping with the new shareholder agreement with BNP Paribas, we will soon be changing the company name to Geojit Financial Services Ltd’, he added.
