Build Intec 2018, a biennial building and construction fair, is scheduled between February 2 and 5 at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex here.
Briefing reporters, M Karthikeyan, Chairman, Build Intec 2018, said the ninth edition of the event has attracted more participants than the preceding event with 250 exhibitors spread over 300 stalls. Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE Elevators, will inaugurate the fair.
At least 10 to 15 per cent of the exhibitors are from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, New Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala, he said.
The expected business turnover from the four-day expo is expected to cross ₹100 crore. “The business generated from the previous edition of the expo was more than ₹50 crore” he said.
The organisers have developed an App to make the visitors’ registration hassle-free.
