XLRI Jamshedpur received 100 per cent placements for summer internships for its batch of 2013-15.
According to a release, 105 companies made 336 offers to the institution’s largest batch of 303 students. In terms of number of offers, top recruiters were on campus — Vodafone, Microsoft, ITC and Standard Chartered.
The highest stipend offered was Rs 3 lakh for the internship period, the release added. “The placement process at our campus concluded within four days, with 100 per cent of the batch of 303 students getting meaningful offers for internship from major conglomerates,” Fr. E. Abraham, Director of XLRI, was quoted as saying.
The institute saw a 33 per cent rise in the number of offers made in the Finance domain to its Business Management students, while it continued to maintain its stronghold as a prominent destination for talent in Human Resources and Marketing.
