National Stock Exchange on Wednesday announced its tie-up with the Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS) for a two-year MBA course in financial markets. Ravi Varanasi, Chief, Business Development at the NSE, said this was the 15th tie-up with business schools across the country.
"So far, such MBA courses (jointly conducted by NSE and a business school) have produced some 800 graduates in the financial markets. The course revolves round financial market products or assets such as equity, commodities, debts and interest rates."
The post-graduate course in financial markets involved 11 months of class-room training as well as one year of internship, he said.
NSE and BIBS have promised placement assistance after completion of the course.
