Last year's event also provided an opportunity to concerned stakeholders from the government, industry and academia to update themselves and check on the outcomes on business.

The Indian chemicals industry, which accounts for 2.51 per cent of India’s overall GDP, and 15.95 per cent of its manufacturing, is expected to grow at 15 per cent in the coming year.
