Students of Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai, won this year’s CIO’s Challenge organised by Cognizant Technology Solutions.
Kanchan Ashok Chandnani, Sumit Gouthaman, Arunkumar Dharmapuri Gangula and Pranav Anil Acharya designed an app to help employees manage their profiles on the company database to reflect their updated skill sets and other details.
The US-based software company conducted the challenge for engineering college students. This was the third edition of the event, which saw 134 students participate from 36 colleges across India.
Launched in 2011, CIO’s Challenge is a three-month long experiential learning and engagement initiative where students showcase their creativity and technology expertise to develop enterprise applications that solve complex enterprise challenges, says a company press release.
