The US-based assessments company ACT has tied up with Manipal-backed MeritTrac to bring their assessment methodology to Indian students.
The tests, which on an average cost $150 is aimed at students who are looking to study in Ivy League colleges in the US and other parts of the world.
ACT, a non-profit company, has been in existence since the 60s. As a part of this tie up, ACT will enable computer-based testing at MeritTrac’s centres, which would include those in Tier-II and III cities.
“The test takers will get around 24 sessions or opportunities to take tests in the year and the results will be available in two days in comparison to six weeks as of now,” said Gopal Devanahalli, CEO, MeritTrac.
