Premier business school XLRI Jamshedpur is all set to organise the first-ever 'Dr Verghese Kurien Memorial Oration' in memory of the founder of Amul, Verghese Kurien, on September 8 at its campus.
The oration aims to inspire budding managers and young professionals to help shape an inclusive and just society whilst inculcating the values and entrepreneurial spirit of Kurien.
The oration is to be delivered by the Ramon Magsaysay Awardee (for Journalism, Literature and Creative Communication Arts) P Sainath, who will deliver the oration on the topic 'Unequal is Unsustainable'. Kurien's daughter Nirmala Kurien will also attend the session.
