The Telecom Commissionis likely to discuss the issue of spectrum cap in sharing and trading guidelines today. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India had said in July that unallocated telecom spectrum should also be counted while determining the limit of radiowaves that a company can hold.

Northern Railway has decided to stop the sale of platform tickets from today in an attempt to keep unwanted crowds away from the stations during the busy festival season. Platform tickets will not be sold till November 16 and travelling passengers alone will be allowed entry on platforms during this period.
