Lenders of debt-ridden Jaypee Infratech to meet on April 26 to discuss the revised bids of state-owned NBCC Ltd and Suraksha group. The groups have been asked to sweeten their offers for acquiring the Jaypee group’s realty arm. Adani has also joined the race to acquire Jaypee Infratech.

Lenders of debt-ridden Ruchi Soya are set to meet on Friday to consider the revised bid of Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved to acquire Madhya Pradesh-based edible oil firm. Patanjali had increased its bid value by around Rs 200 crore to Rs 4,350 crore for the acquisition of almost bankrupt Ruchi Soya.
The Supreme Court is likely to hear the plea challenging the ban on release of the movie, biopic on Narendra Modi on April 26. The producers of the movie have filed a plea challenging the ban by Election Commission on release of the movie during the election season. Also, EC had also submitted a detailed report of the movie to the court.
