A Chennai court will take up a case filed by the Enforcement Directorate against AIADMK (Amma) deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran today. The charge is that Dhinkaran had acquired $1,04,93,313 in forex without the RBI’s nod and deposited it in the account of Dipper Investments, a firm incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.
