The 34th national conference of the Indian Institute of Geographers (IIG) will be held at the Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS) here.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day conference beginning on December 13, a spokesman for organisers said.
Shailesh Nayak, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, will deliver the keynote address.
The focal theme for the conference is ‘Natural Resource Management and Decentralised Planning.’
