The 43rd India International Knit Fair is scheduled between October 19 and 21 at India Knit Fair Complex (near TEA Public School), Tirupur.
Tirupur District Collector S Jayanthi is to inaugurate the event.
Exhibitors would showcase Autumn/Winter and Mid-summer collection 2017 at this expo.
A Sakthivel, Chairman, India Knit Fair Association, said that the response from overseas buyers and buying agents has been very encouraging.
Buyers from South America, Israel, Australia, Dubai, Brazil, Spain, Italy, UAE, Japan, Kong Kong, UK, South Africa, Slovakia and Singapore have confirmed their visit, he said.
“There has been a gradual shift in demand from low budget to medium and high budget garments and use of organic cotton in fabrics,” he said.
