The State unit of the Indian Medical Association held a three-day health and fitness conclave from Saturday to create awareness about the recent advancements in healthcare sector in the city.
Organised jointly with the city-based Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will have exhibitions on pharmaceuticals, hospital services, medical education and other healthcare amenities.
It will conduct seminars on polio, AIDS and rehabilitation medicines. The conclave will also hold discussions on issues such as rural healthcare, diabetes, cancer awareness.
