LBS Marg flyover has been completed and will be thrown open to traffic on Friday.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority said the Rs 16-crore flyover with two lanes each for up and down traffic will help over 50,000 commuters avoid the busy LBS junction to reach Kurla Station.
The flyover is part of the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road – a missing link – that is being constructed under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will inaugurate the flyover at 4 pm on August 10, MMRDA said in a release.
