Thailand-based Srithai Superware, which manufactures melamine tableware, will set up a manufacturing plant in Sanand in Gujarat at an estimated investment of Rs 57 crore.
The factory will start operations in 2015. The company plans to set up three additional facilities over the next ten years with a total investment outlay of ₹229 crore. Srithai Superware India plans to also export the products to South-Asian countries once the unit becomes operational.
