The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday released annual credit plan for 2018-19, with an outlay of Rs 1,94,220 cr.
The credit plan includes Rs 1,44,220 cr for the priority sector and Rs 50,000 crores for the non-priority sector.
Addressing the bankers on this occasion, the Chief Minister said bankers should come forward to help the public in a big way.
He said people were facing problems with banking sector after demonetisation. He said people were not coming forward to deposit cash in banks with the prevailing confusion. He said the State Govt. had been facing problems to distribute money under NREGS due to shortage of cash in banks.
