HostDime, a US-based data centre and web hosting company, is launching solid state drive-driven shared hosting services in India. It owns a data centre in Delhi, apart from an operating centre at Technopark here.
The new hosting service utilises web servers fitted with solid state drives rather than conventional hard disk drives. These drives are typically 30 times as faster and are better responsive, Praveen M, Managing Director, HostDime India, said.
