The country’s largest mobile payment and e-commerce company, Paytm, has partnered with leading Kolkata eateries like Arsalan and Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick Sweets (a sweetmeat shop) to ensure a seamless payment experience this festive season.
Commenting on the collaboration, Amit Veer, Vice-President, Paytm, said, “Enabling QR-based payments will help customers grab their favourite dishes quicker, while retailers avoid the hassles of dealing with long queues at payment counters.”
The QR code-based payment facility will be live across all 8 branches of Arsalan and 5 branches of Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick Sweets, the company said in a release.
