After his successful debut with Mohanlal starrer ‘Red Wine’, Malayalam film director Salam Bappu has set his sights on another superstar Mammootty for his next project.
“My next project is a film with Mammootty,” Bappu, who expressed his happiness over the good response for his maiden film which hit the screens, last month, told reporters here.
‘Red Wine’, which stars Mohanlal in the lead, is an investigation thriller telling the story of a murder in a different pattern, he said.
Speaking at a meet-the-press programme of Kozhikode Press Club here, he said that the feed back he was getting for the film, picturised mostly in Kozhikode and Wayanad districts, was very encouraging.
The presence of Mohanlal contributed to the success of the film, he said, adding that though he had planned to complete it in 45 days, he was able to finish it three days ahead.
Besides Mohanlal, the other cast includes Fahad Fazil, Asif Ali, Meera Nandan, Meghana Raj, Anusree, T G Ravi and Anoop Chandran.
