Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today unveiled FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Women Green Industrial Park, which will be the first such women entrepreneur park in the country.
At a function on World Women's Day, KT Rama Rao handed over Sanction Proceedings of allotment of land for FLO Women Green Industrial Park to its Chairperson Padma Rajgopal.
TSIIC allocated FLO 50 acres of land at Sultanpur, Patancheru, on the city outskirts. The land has been allotted at ₹45 lakh per acre.
FLO will develop the industrial park. The park infrastructure will be developed by Telangana State Industrial infrastructure Corporation and FLO members will be allotted land to set up units.
The minister readily agreed to the request of FLO for allocation of five acres on lease to develop, build and operate a Centre of Excellence for Skill Development for women from weaker and underprivileged sections of the society.
