Kamdhenu Ltd, a home building materials company, is planning to ramp up its production capacity in Karnataka to 1.5 lakh tonnes per annum by 2018. The company launched its high-end interlock steel TMT bar ‘Kamdhenu NXT’ – a product which makes new engineered reinforcement structures and smart architectural concepts more robust by providing 2.5 times stronger concrete-steel interlock.
Sunil Agarwal, Director, said: “Bengaluru has witnessed large-scale influx of young talent with the emergence of the city as IT capital of the country. This has not only stretched the boundaries of the city but has also created the need for better infrastructure projects. We anticipate this trend to continue in the coming years as well, thereby, increasing the demand for construction & building materials.”
