Mid-market buyout private equity fund Samara Capital has signed an agreement to acquire a 50 per cent stake in Blue Heaven Cosmetics Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed amount.
The company plans to use the funds marketing and distribution and consolidation of group entities.
“Blue Heaven has built a legacy of four decades, delivering a strong customer value proposition. We are seeing a strong demand for our products and felt a need to institutionalise the company and its operations to be able to keep meeting the expectations of our customers and stakeholders,” Charanjit Singh, Promoter & Director at Blue Heaven Cosmetics said.
Blue Heaven is a family-run company founded by Charanjit Singh and Gurnam Singh and, along with its group entities, manufactures and markets a range of cosmetic products under the brand Blue Heaven. The company and its group entities generate a sales of more than ₹160 crore, and has been registering 15 per cent per annual growth.
The company has its manufacturing facilities located in Delhi and Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
Ethos Capital, HDSG & Associates and Jindagi Live Consulting were the advisors to Blue Heaven Cosmetics.
