Pension passbook in UMANG
EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) subscribers can now view their pension passbook through the UMANG app, a platform for all government services.
The app requires the subscriber’s PPO (Pension Payment Order) number and date of birth. After successful validation of the information, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the pensioner.
On entering the OTP, the passbook will be displayed with details such as name and date of birth, along with information on the last pension credited.
The facility to download financial year-wise pass book is also available.
Other EPFO e-services available through the UMANG app include: viewing EPF passbook, raising/tracking claims, searching for EPFO office, updating Jeevan Praman and e-KYC services (Aadhaar seeding).
