InnoNano raises ₹120 crore

InnoNano Research, an IIT Madras incubated clean water technology company, has raised about ₹120 crore ($18 million) from the US-based NanoHoldings, an energy and water investment specialist firm. InnoNano will use the money to expand its global footprint and file for patents. It will set up a manufacturing facility, a research laboratory and technology delivery offices in North America, Asia and Africa.

Unbxd gets Series B funding

Bengaluru-based Unbxd, a provider of e-commerce product discovery software, has raised an undisclosed amount in Series B funding. This round was led by entities advised and managed by Nirvana Venture Advisors, and existing investors IDG Ventures, Inventus Capital and Indian Angel Network. Unbxd will use the money to grow faster and scale the product.

₹475-cr funding for IDFC Alter

The real estate arm of IDFC Alternatives has raised ₹475 crore for its third real estate fund – the IDFC SCORE Fund. It targets to raise up to ₹750 crore. A significant portion of the capital has been raised from its existing investors. The fund will predominantly invest in approved residential projects in Mumbai, National Capital Region, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Kolkata.

Titan to buy stake in CaratLane

Titan Co Ltd, India’s largest maker of branded watches and jewellery, will acquire a majority stake in Chennai-based online jewellery retailer Carat Lane Trading Pvt Ltd. The companies did not disclose the deal size or the stake that Titan, which is a brick and mortar retailer, will pick up.

Matrix Partners, Accel invest in Zarget

Matrix Partners India and Accel Partners have invested a $1.5 million first institutional round of funding in Zarget, a SaaS-based conversion rate optimisation company. Angel investors such as Girish Mathrubootham, Chief Executive Officer of Freshdesk, also participated in this round.

Locus raises $2.75 million
