Gardening gives me inner peace

1. A firm believer of the present, I believe that everyday brings something new and  prepares us for the unexpected, I start my mornings with Suryanamaskar as it gives me an immense sense of tranquility and helps me warm-up for the long run I do at the Siri Fort race track. The greenery around the track helps me forget I'm amidst a bustling city and the accelerated heart beat gives me a fresh start to the day.

2. I then indulge myself with a handful of soaked almonds with ginseng honey which I believe is the healthiest way to improve cholesterol profile. My mother had always made sure to give us this extremely amazing green juice which is a mix of Avacados, Spinach, Kiwi and cucumber. Apparently, juicing is the quickest way to get lots of vitamins and nutrients into your body.

3. I don't eat breakfast as I end up eating too many refined carbs, too little protein and too much fat. I feel bloated the whole morning, so I try my best and avoid it. Although I do believe that breakfast is important but I guess that it’s just the way my body responds to it.

4. I also enjoy gardening in the morning, to preserve my mental and physical state. With spring around the corner, it's refreshing to see your plants blossoming. Time spent in my garden gives me a sense of profound joy and inner peace.

5. My current favorite book, "Way of the Wolf”, has an interesting take on achieving success and mastering persuasion, and it helps set the tone for my day.
