Over the next two weeks, multiple health messages on malaria, bleeding disorder haemophila and vaccines will be beamed across the world. World Malaria Day (April 25) will push for continued investment for malaria prevention and control. The theme is to ‘End Malaria for Good’.

Marking World Immunisation week (April 24-30) with the message #vaccineswork, the World Health Organisation seeks to promote vaccines. There are still 19.4 million unvaccinated and under-vaccinated children in the world. Global disease elimination targets for measles, rubella, and maternal and neonatal tetanus are behind schedule.

Come Monday, buildings across the world will be ‘Lighting it up Red’ to support people with the inherited disorder haemophilia.
