Amara Raja Group celebrated its 29th foundation day on December 20.
The foundation of Amara Raja Group was laid by Late N T Rama Rao, then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in December 1985.
J. Chalameswar, Supreme Court Justice, and Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, State Minister for Environment and Forests, were among those present at the event, according to a statement.
Amara Raja Group Chairman R.N. Galla, said “The group company journey so far has been excellent and it has set plans to further increase the business. To improve the technical competency of rural youth, a special skill development centre has been established to provide more employment opportunities.”
Jayadev Galla, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Amara Raja Group, said, “The company grew from mere 10 employees to 10 thousand employees today. Similarly, we have grown from a single company to group companies, single location to multiple locations, single product and multiple products and so on.”
