Ratings firms Crisil today reported 18.03 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 56.32 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had reported net profit of Rs 68.71 crore in the same period last year.
Crisil’s consolidated total income decreased marginally from Rs 312.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 to Rs 310.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, the company said in a filing to BSE.
On a standalone basis, Crisil’s net profit fell by a 10.5 per cent to Rs 45.61 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015 compared with net profit of Rs 50.96 crore January-March quarter of 2013-14.
Crisil’s standalone total income increased to Rs 227.30 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 224.62 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Post a fall in its net profit, shares of Crisil traded at Rs 2,170 apiece at noon trades on BSE, down 7.52 per cent from previous close.
