Eco-Care Buildings Products has diversified its business launching Prime range of uPVC doors and windows for residential and commercial applications.

The Hyderabad-based company, which is in the process of setting up a manufacturing unit at Gowaravaram village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, plans to initially begin production of 200 windows and doors a day and gradually ramp it up with additional investment.

Addressing a press conference here today, Vijay Bhaskar Suryadevara, Managing Director of Eco Care Buildings Products, said the company uPVC doors and windows are engineered to last long and withstand extreme climatic conditions. The advantage with these windows and doors is they are delivered home and fitted by the company staff, thereby reducing the hassle of getting workers to fix them.

The company has been producing and marketing Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks which serve as a replacement for conventional bricks. With a clientele of over 500 plus customers, including some of the leading real estate companies in the South India, it has also bagged a big order from Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, he said.

The country’s windows and doors business is estimated to be about Rs 10,000 crore per annum and of this, the uPVC business is about Rs 1,000 crore and growing at a healthy pace annually. These products are considered energy efficient, he explained.
