The board of directors of Force Motors Ltd today approved the establishment of a facility to manufacture/ assemble engine-gearboxes for automobiles at Anjur village in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu.
The decision was subject to receipt of necessary approvals, the company said. It did not disclose the investment involved.
The company’s product range includes small commercial vehicles, LCVs, MUVs and tractors.
Its shares were trading at ₹382.80, up by 80 paise, on the BSE.
