Rising costs of inputs have eaten into Seshasayee Paper and Boards’ net profit for the third quarter of the current year. Despite a 21 per cent jump in income on higher realisations and sales as compared with the corresponding quarter in the previous year, the company’s net profit grew by just 4 per cent. For the quarter ended December 31, 2013, it reported a net profit of ₹2.10 crore (₹2.02 crore) on a total income of ₹253.51 crore (₹201.24 crore).
