JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has reported 25.78 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 49.85 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 39.63 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Its total income from operations rose to Rs 309.22 crore during the quarter under consideration against Rs 284.2 crore in the year-ago period.
During the quarter, the company’s domestic formulations sales grew 12.50 per cent to Rs 128.78 crore, while overall formulations export registered a growth of 2.54 per cent to Rs 131.08 crore.
Shares of JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals were trading at Rs 346.70, up 11.14 per cent, from its previous close.
