KEC International (KEC), an RPG Group company, has secured new orders worth Rs 1,845 crore.

The company’s transmission & distribution (T&D) business has secured orders worth Rs 1,684 crore in India and the Americas. The unit has also bagged an EPC order for the construction of 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines from a TBCB developer in Western & Southern India.

It has also won a turnkey order for the construction of a 400 kV transmission line in South India from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Another order for the construction of 400 kV and 220 kV substations in South India for Yettinahole integrated water project was also won by the company.

The T&D division also won various supply orders across the Americas, the company said in a statement.

“The order book in our core T&D business has strengthened significantly with the above order wins. We have successfully diversified our customer base to include private developers and other clients in addition to the current power utilities. Overall, we have a very strong order book and a healthy L1 position,” Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said.

KEC International’s cable business secured various supply and EPC orders worth Rs 161 crore.

KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has presence across power transmission and distribution, cables, railways, renewables and civil verticals.
