Madhucon Projects Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 6.48 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2014 against a net profit of Rs 2.33 crore in the corresponding quarter last year on a standalone basis.
The Hyderabad-based infrastructure and construction company has registered income of Rs 150.50 crore from operations during the first quarter against Rs 108.83 crore in the same quarter last year.
Last financial year ended March 31, 2014, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 31.71 crore and income of Rs 865.31 crore.
The company shares had closed at Rs 38.50, down 3 per cent on the BSE on Friday.
