Viacom18 Media has appointed Ajit Andhare as the Chief Operating Officer of its films business — Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Andhare replaces Vikram Malhotra who put in his papers some time back.
In his new position Andhare will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Viacom18 Motion Pictures and will report to Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO. He would also lead Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ distribution alliance with Paramount Pictures.
Andhare has over 17 years of experience in FMCG and media. He was earlier the CEO of Colosceum Media Pvt Ltd, which has produced TV franchises such as MTV Roadies, MTV Splitsvilla and Jai Shri Krishna for Viacom18.
