Woodland, the outdoor adventure gear brand, is all set to launch a series of water sports related products in the market.
The company will venture into water sports with a series of products, including kayaks and surf-boards. To leverage this, the brand has associated with the three-day ‘The Malabar River Festival’, which commenced in Kozhikode today. This would mark the company’s aggressive entry into the water adventure segment, Harkirat Singh, Managing Director, told Business Line over phone.
Woodland, he said, has always followed the tradition of promoting outdoor and adventure sports worldwide and at the same time provides a platform for adventure enthusiasts, reinforcing the brand mantra, Explore More.
The great potential in water sports prompted the company to partner in the recently concluded India Surfing Festival in Odisha. Kerala is a hub for water sports and what can be bigger than the Malabar River Festival that invites participation from professionals across the globe, he said.
