Ace Turtle, a Bengaluru-based retail technology company, has partnered with the Netherlands-based supply chain management company CEVA Logistics to enable freight forwarding for its global retail brands in South-East Asia.
Ace Turtle is financially backed by Vertex Ventures and C31 Ventures, the venture capital arm of Capitaland, a Singapore-based real estate company.
Under the agreement, CEVA will provide international freight forwarding services on routes such as US-Singapore, China-Singapore, China-India, India-Singapore and India–Malaysia. At a later stage, it would provide services from Europe to the Asia-Pacific region.
“Our partnership with CEVA is a step towards cross-border e-commerce as we envisage providing high-class logistic services to enable business for international brands in South-East Asia,” Nitin Chhabra, CEO at Ace Turtle, said.
CEVA, one of the top five global freight forwarders in the world, will handle international air-freight service, local transportation in origin and destination countries and manage customs clearance for global brands.
