The Indian Stainless Steel Development Association has appointed KK Pahuja as its new President.
Pahuja, former Executive Director of Steel Authority of India, takes over from the outgoing President NC Mathur.
He was part of key strategic group at SAIL to drive the growth plans, product development and operating efficiencies.
With over 40 years of experience in the steel industry, Pahuja has worked in the areas of operations, supply chain, coal management and policy formulation.
He has been associated with both the industry as well as the government, including Bhilai Steel Plant, SAIL Corporate office and the Ministry of Steel.
Pahuja said Mathur has played an important role in the progress of the association and the stainless steel industry in India and he looks forward to work with all the members on this exciting journey ahead to further growth of the industry.
Pahuja is a mechanical engineer from BITS Pilani and an MBA from FMS, Delhi University.
