Airtel has launched two new pre-paid plans that the company says will offer more value to heavy data users. But to avail the new plans, you will have to initially pay ₹748.
With the ₹748 pack you get 1GB 4G/3G data upfront. Once this gets exhausted, users will get the next 1GB data at ₹99. The ₹1,498 pack gets you 1GB 4G/3G data upfront and recharge for the next 1GB at ₹51.
There is no limit on the number of recharges and the higher the number of recharges, the more value a customer gets. Basically, the plans are aimed at those who use more than 2 GB of data a month and currently spend over ₹850 on mobile broadband. The value is in the recharge the operator is offering at a discount compared to other existing plans in the market that offer a 1GB top-up for over ₹150.
Ajai Puri, Director, Operations (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel, said: “With these innovative packs, we are redefining the value proposition on our data packs and allowing our customers get a lot more within the same budget.”
The scheme has been launched in Delhi to start with.
