Have a film or a web series but don’t know how to sell it? Digibooster is one such content market platform that facilitates ease of transactions between production houses, companies and individuals looking to buy video content.

The company offers a platform for all forms of video content, including films, TV series, web series and animations.

“With players like Netflix and Amazon Prime and host of other OTT players, there is a huge demand for original content. Digibooster is a B2B platform where in makers can find potential buyers on our platform,” Nandini Mansingka, Co-founder, Digibooster said.

She said that until now content creators typically had to look for physical markets like MIPCOM, FILMART and Cannes Film Market to find a buyers for their content.

“We go create a marketplace for IP owners and potential buyers to meet and explore opportunities,” Mansinghka said.

She said the company is already reaching out to players in domestic and international market.

“We are reaching out to 5,000 potential buyers”, she said.

Asked about its revenue model, Mansinghka said the company is looking earn through commissions and listing. “Currently, listing is free. We are working on a transaction led model.”

Mansinghka had previously founded Idyabooster, an angle investor network, which funds live events, television and web series. It had last year co-produced Ludo, a Bengali film.

Digibooster competes with crowd funded players like Catapoolt. Internationally, New York-based entity Slated connects film-makers with investors connects nearly 15,000 producers and 10,000 writers and distributors on its platform.
