Huawei Enterprise Business Group India of the $75-billion Chinese major Huawei has partnered with supply-chain solution provider Redington India to expand its enterprise footprint in the country in areas such as smart cities, energy, infrastructure and BFSI.
Redington will distribute and market Huawei’s enterprise products and services in India, said Derek Hao, President, Enterprise Business Group, Huawei India.
Redington will support Huawei in developing resellers to market and promote products and services in areas of server, storage, data centre and Cloud computing. Redington will also provide post-sales maintenance services and also be responsible for channel-partner development and technical training of channel partners, he told news persons.
Huawei’s enterprise products and solutions will help create a smart and digital society and lead to digital transformation of industries, he said. The company is in discussion with the government on various smart city initiatives, he added, said without giving any details.
“The partnership with Redington will help Huawei increase its channel-partner network to market and service our enterprise customers in diverse geographies across India.”
Johnson George, Senior General Manager and Head Strategic Business Unit, Redington India, said, with Huawei, Redington can reach out pan India and will be in a position to take advantage of their vast product portfolio.
