Chinese smartphone maker ZOPO Mobile has entered into the Indian market with the launch of one of its premium handset ‘Speed7’.
Established in 2008, ZOPO Mobile is headquartered in Shenzhen, China.
To cater to its diverse clientele — spread across 135 countries, this international company’s products are classified into three different series: Speed, Flash and Color.
ZOPO Mobile will be selling ‘Speed 7’ handsets in India exclusively through Snapdeal, a leading e-commerce company, from the first week of September, said Charles Bird, Brand Manager, ZOPO Mobile, at the launch event here.
‘Speed 7’ brings brand new Android experience with Android 5.1 operating system and Z-UI that offers a simple yet powerful user experience.
Priced at ₹12,999, ‘Speed 7’ handset is endowed with 3GB RAM and equipped with 5.0 inch frameless screen and 13.2 MP camera.
Additionally, it has features such as 4G LTE, Dual SIM and Face Beauty 4.0 which work to make every selfie more beautiful, Bird said.
Commenting on the launch, Kevin Xu, Chief Executive Officer, ZOPO Mobile, said the goal has always been clear in the path towards globalization; to expand the company’s global footprint.
“India is a logical and imperative step in this journey to success. We have been continuously working towards the expansion of our global footprint and ZOPO is actively pursuing its goal to enter and leave a mark in the extremely enticing Indian market”, Xu said in a statement here.
