Ozonetel, a cloud-based communication platform that helps firms take care of their conversation with consumers, has begun tapping global markets. The Hyderabad-based firm is looking at opportunities in Singapore, Australia, the UK and US markets.

The company expects its foreign operations to contribute 20-30 per cent of its revenues for the current financial year. As part of its global expansion, the firm had tied up with advertising agency WPP to co-brand the platform.

“We have licensed the platform to them for three years. We are looking at strategic partnerships like these to drive revenues by expanding the presence,” CSN Murthy, Ozonetel’s Founder and CEOtold BusinessLine .

The firm is set to hire about 20 people to support its global business, taking its overall staff strength to 100. It had a turnover of ₹20 crore in 2014-15, and is targeting revenues of ₹55-60 crore in 2015-16. Ozonetel works with over 1,000 clients, helping them reach their customers. Its platform was used in Hindustan Unilever’s mobile marketing campaign ‘Kan Khajura Tesan’ to reach over 3.4 crore users. The firm also offers communication-as-a-service, covering 20 verticals. “We collect data and gather intellige-nce as we handle communication, producing intelligence that can be used by clients to fine tune their campaigns and offerings,” he said.
