Consumer electronics major Panasonic has launched three new models ‘rugged devices’ Toughpad FZ-F1 and N1 and tablet FZ A2 tablet. The devices are targeted at businesses like transportation, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, retail and healthcare. The 4.7 inch Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a battery that supports 8 hours of continuous operation.
The phones are priced at Rs 1.09 lakh and Rs 99,000 respectively. The dual SIM, 4G dust resistant phones can last in water for up to 30 minutes and come with an angular barcode reader.
“Enterprise and government users are looking to do more with hand held devices than ever before. The majority of hand held tablet solutions in the market today are using an antiquated Operating system,” Vijay Wadhwan, Associate director System and Solution Business of Panasonic India, said, showcasing the products here on Tuesday.
The Toughpad FZ-A2 tablet weighs 880 gm and works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System. It comes with 4GB RAM. It is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh, a statement said.
