In an effort to offer technologies in Internet of Things, mobility and Artificial Intelligence, Panasonic India has announced its first India Innovation Centre, in collaboration with TCS.
The centre intends to be a platform for engineers from the county to come together and work, and develop solutions that will focus on five areas — connected community, mobility, energy, industrial and financial solutions, the company said. Further, it will focus on innovations in the consumer electronic space and leverage the technology already available with Panasonic India. TCS will bring in industry know-how and innovation practices.
Daizo Ito, Regional Head, Panasonic India, said: “One of the main focuses of this enterprise will be to bring together Panasonic’s research and development efforts under one umbrella.”
The centre will work as a hub that will be central to developing new-age technology, added Manish Sharma, President and CEO, Panasonic India and South Asia.
