IT company Raybiztech has teamed up with Planet Water Foundation to provide safe drinking water to children in five countries.
This is a part of Project 24, which aims to provide 24 Safe Drinking Water Systems in 24 Communities of 24,000 people, in 24 hours, company officials said.
Further, the Project 24 covers countries like Cambodia, Colombia, India, Indonesia and Philippines. Today, nearly one billion people worldwide do not have access to safe drinking water and every day 4,000 children die from water-related illnesses, said Ajay Ray, MD, Raybiztech.
He added that over 100 million people do not have access to safe drinking water in India. The tech company has sponsored a zila parishad school in Perne near Pune.
