Cyber security solutions firm Raytheon Websense rechristened itself as Forcepoint.

Announcing the change of brand name, the firm said its platform safeguards users, networks and data. “The platform will protect against threats from insiders and outsiders and detect breaches. Defend, detect, decide, defeat – this is our vision for Forcepoint 4D Security,” Forcepoint CEO John McCormack has said in a statement.

Forcepoint said it finalised the acquisition of the Stonesoft firewall and Sidewinder proxy firewall technologies and teams from Intel Security this month.
